Stationary Asphalt Plant

Being cheap and durable crude petroleum product, asphalt is most preferred material for making roads. Asphalts are produced, processed and mixed in either mobile asphalt plant or stationary asphalt plant. Except mobility there is no other difference between stationary and mobile asphalt mix plants.

Stationary asphalt mix plant like mobile plants has dryer, mixer, fuel tank, conveyor, feeder, bitumen tank etc. The aggregates are dried mixed and discharged directly into an insulated holding of the asphalt mobile plant. Liquid asphalt is heated through electric heating system. The asphalt mixed in stationary plant is transported to various construction sites through different carriers.
